Can you help harden my home against wildfire?
Yes. Homes in the foothills and around Tahoe–Truckee sit in Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) fire zones, where California's building code (CBC Chapter 7A) sets ignition-resistant requirements for roofs, siding, eaves, vents, decks, and windows. We upgrade these vulnerable exterior assemblies with Class-A roofing, fiber-cement and other ignition-resistant siding, ember-resistant vents, and tempered or multi-pane glazing, and coordinate the work with Cal Fire defensible-space guidance. Do I need a permit for my remodel in Sacramento or Placer County?
Usually, yes. Most structural, electrical, and plumbing work requires a permit, whether your home is in the City of Sacramento or a Placer County city like Roseville or Rocklin. The exact requirements vary by city and county, and CA projects also have to meet Title 24 energy code. We pull the permits and coordinate inspections for your project so you never have to visit a government office or track code requirements yourself.
How long does a typical remodel take?
It depends on the scope. A bathroom remodel often runs 3 to 6 weeks, a kitchen 6 to 10 weeks, and exterior projects like siding or a deck can be finished in one to a few weeks of on-site work.
