Fire-Resistant James Hardie Siding Replacement in Roseville

The original hardboard siding had swelled and delaminated at the bottom edges after years of intense Central Valley sun and heat cycling. Failed caulk joints were letting moisture behind the cladding, and — with the home on the edge of a wildland-adjacent area — the owners wanted a more ignition-resistant exterior.

We stripped the home to the sheathing, replaced compromised OSB, and installed a full weather-resistive barrier with flashed penetrations before hanging James Hardie lap siding (rated HZ10 for California) with a ColorPlus finish.
